Starting his apprenticeship in the late 80's in Wellington, New Zealand and becoming a fully qualified Plumber, Gas fitter and drainer by 1993.
Working for one of the largest Plumbing and roofing firms gave him access and training in many major residential and commercial contracts that they undertook.
After leaving to pursue his own successful businesses in 1996, in 2000 he decided it was time for a life change 
he and his family moved to Brisbane.
​Gaining further experience in Bathroom Renovation for 10 years for a renovation company in Brisbane's Western Suburbs.
In 2010 he decided it's time for another challenge and decided to start Northern Plumbing Gas & Drainage.
​Since then the business has grown and as taken on his youngest son as his apprentice to one day continue Northern Plumbing Gas & Drainage and provide quality work and service to the greater Brisbane Northern Suburbs.

Chris started working for Northern Plumbing Gas and Drainage back in 2014 and worked for us for a few years but decided he needed a change as most young men need to do, he tried a few different trades.
​This has also given him further knowledge in the construction industry to our benefit.
​He decided that Plumbing was his niche and signed up for an apprenticeship in 2017
Completing his first year with full he is a hard working and knowledgeable young man and an asset to the team who is going to go far in the Plumbing, Gas and Drainage field.

Supervisor - Zada

Zada - Head Supervisor

Zada is by far the classic supervisor and takes her role seriously.
If she's not keeping an eye on everything from the shade and cool of the truck, you will find her fast asleep in the shade.
She will always accept pats and especially a treat here and there as reward for carrying out her duties.
​With a kind heart, smiling face she loves a treat and pat while she's in the truck without the boss around as it is her truck.
Though she is deaf, she understands and obeys most commands and is very well mannered. 
​With her attributes of eating, sleeping and wanting lot's of affection she is an asset to the company.
